Rooms have recently been remodeled and are always maintained to the
highest standards. Main level rooms have direct access from
the parking area and balconies with views of the river and Chimney Rock.
Lower level rooms have views of the river and Chimney Rock with direct
access to the yard, picnic tables , swings and the river. All
rooms have:

• Smoking permitted outside the rooms.

| Cancellations: | 72 HOUR CANCELLATION MINIMUM. During holidays, special events and leaf season, a one (1) week cancellation notice is required. |
| Early Departure: | A confirmed reservation obligates both the Carter Lodge and the guest for the entire length of stay reserved. In the event of an early departure, guests are responsible for the remainder of the stay. |
| Check-in Times: | We request that you check into your room between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. If you plan to arrive earlier or later, please make arrangements with us in advance by telephone. |
| Office Hours: | 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (for inquiries) |
| Pets: | Sorry, we do not allow pets of any kind, anywhere on our property. This includes leaving a pet in your car on the premises. |
| Smoking: | Smoking is NOT permitted in the rooms. Guests are welcome to step outside their rooms to smoke. |
