The Carter Lodge houses 16 rooms, with balconies overlooking the river or a covered sitting area outside your room. The honeymoon/Jacuzzi room is quite a romantic setting for your getaway. Located just around the bend from the center of Chimney Rock Village, where you can walk to shopping and dining. Whatever your pleasure!! Less than a mile down the road is beautiful Lake Lure, where you can enjoy a "beach in the mountains".....swim, play volleyball or just "sun" on the beach. Take a boat ride on Lake Lure and see where the movie "Dirty Dancing" was filmed or maybe just explore in a paddle boat or canoe.
